Tutorial - Yellow Flowers

Yellow Flowers  Tutorial

This tutorial was written by me on April 15, 2014, using PSP X but any version will work. This tut is written assuming you have a  working knowledge of  PSP.   Any similarity to any other tutorial is purely coincidental.
Supplies needed:
PTU Scrap kit by Graphics of Fantasy “Yellow Flowers” available here
Tube  “My Dog” ©Very Many available at Very Many Tubes here and can only be used with purchase & license.

Font Baroque Script available here
Suggested Mask WSL_Mask 362 here
*Remember to save often and add a Drop Shadow as you go.
To begin, open a blank canvas 600 x 600. Selections – select all.
Open the paper of your choice and copy. I used paper 12. Paste onto your blank canvas by pasting into selection. Deselect.
Apply the mask I suggested or one of your choice.  Merge group. Lighten opacity to 90%:

Next, open Frame GOF_Yellow_Flowers (2) and resize 70%. Copy & paste as a new layer.
Add a drop shadow of your choice. I used these settings:

Now is the time to add your tube. Resize to your liking and add a drop shadow. If using the Very Many tube, resize 50%.
Add element GOF_Yellow_Flowers (61) and resize 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer and add a drop shadow.
At this point, you will need to use the eraser tool and remove any of the tube that shows below the element layer.
Open bird element GOF_Yellow_Flowers (48) and resize 20%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Arrange to the left of your canvas, so that the bird looks like he is perching on a flower. Add a drop shadow.
Open element GOF_Yellow_Flowers (49) and resize 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Duplicate and arrange to suit your taste.
Now is the time to add any sparkles, etc. you want, to add your own unique flair.
Merge visible. Add copyright.
Add text using either the Baroque Script Font or a font of your choice. Save as PNG.
Thank you for trying my tutorial.
