If you are not familiar with the Gem Store at our forum, it isn't really a store. Members earn 'gems' then trade the gems for items at the Gem Store, or use them for special exclusive tags, scrapkits, tubes, cluster frames, etc. All members start out with a 25,000 balance in their gem account.
